About Us
Discover How We Are Bringing Science Classrooms to Life Through a Holistic, Interdisciplinary, and Values-Based Approach to Education.
Humanizing the Science Classroom
At the heart of our work is a commitment to making science education more meaningful and engaging. We empower educators to bring their classrooms to life by connecting scientific inquiry with deeper ethical, philosophical, and societal dimensions.
What began in 2019 as a Templeton-funded initiative to explore “big questions” has grown into a vibrant global community of teachers and institutions dedicated to fostering deep inquiry and meaning-making in science education.
- Holistic, Values-Based Approach: We connect science with philosophy, ethics, religion, and history to create a richer learning experience.
- Empowering Educators: We provide teachers with the tools, mentorship, and support they need to transform their classrooms.
-
Building a Global Community: We are fostering a network of over
350 teachers and 50+ school systems across 5+ countries.
Inquire. Connect. Transform.
What began as a vision to humanize science teaching has grown into a powerful movement of educators. Funded initially by the Templeton World Charity Foundation in 2019, we conducted two pilot workshops that revealed a profound need for our holistic approach. From our official launch with a workshop at LUMS in 2022 to international sessions in Indonesia, Qatar, and Algeria, we have evolved into a vibrant community focused on creating sustainable, school-led change.
- Founded on a Bold Idea: We started with a vision to bring epistemic curiosity and interdisciplinary insight into science classrooms.
- Global Reach & Relevance: We have expanded from national workshops to international collaborations, expanding the program’s global relevance and reach.
- Sustainable, Scalable Impact: We are now building a sustainable model through in-house school trainings led by certified Master Trainers.
Strengthened by Collaboration.
Our work is enriched and sustained by a growing consortium of academic institutions and partner schools who share our vision. We have partnered with leading institutions such as the John Templeton Foundation, LUMS, Aga Khan University (AKU) and SEAQIS, Indonesia. These partners have hosted workshops, contributed expert faculty, and helped drive our shared mission of making science classrooms more alive and connected to real-world questions.
- Foundational Support: Our work builds upon a project funded by the John Templeton Foundation to address the challenge of “big questions” in the classroom.
- Academic Excellence: We collaborate with prestigious universities like LUMS and AKU, who host in-person workshops and contribute expert faculty.
- International & School Partnerships: We work with international bodies like SEAQIS, Indonesia, and a network of affiliate schools to drive our shared mission.
Inquiry. Collaboration. Impact.
Our approach is rooted in a deep partnership with educators and schools. We believe lasting transformation begins with inquiry and collaboration. By connecting scientific knowledge with ethics, philosophy, and history , we provide a methodical framework that empowers teachers to bring their classrooms to life and create a measurable, meaningful impact on their students.
